Why does the site usage number seem higher than the number of sites I'm actively using the plugin on?
We don't track plugin installations. We track usage.
If the plugin is used (e.g., to migrate or backup a site), that site counts against your quota for the subscription year, even if the plugin was later removed.
What happens when I hit the site limit?
Once you reach your site limit (e.g., 50 sites), you'll be asked to upgrade. You can choose the next tier (e.g., 100 sites) or wait until your license renews, at which point your site count resets to zero.
What if I just used the plugin on a staging or temporary domain?
Temporary domains do count unless they are on localhost (127.0.0.1 or similar).
If you're working locally on your own computer, that's unlimited and excluded from your site quota.
Why don't you count only sites where the plugin is still active like other plugins?
Because we don't lock you in.
Other plugins disable key functionality if the subscription ends or the plugin is removed.
We don't do that once you migrate a site, it's yours forever. Even if you cancel your subscription, we won't break the site or undo your work.
If we followed other plugins' model, we'd have to revert migrations or break your site when you stop paying which would be unacceptable.
Why is your pricing per site instead of unlimited like before?
The old "unlimited use" applied only to your personal websites. Many users misinterpreted it and used the plugin across client and third-party sites, which wasn't permitted.
To solve this, we created the Pro Extension, which is more flexible and allows usage on:
- Personal sites
- Client sites
- Staging/temporary/live environments
It includes 50 sites/year for $99. Usage above that is priced affordably at $1.50 per additional site, sold in bulk.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You'll lose access to premium features and cloud storage destinations, but:
- Your migrated sites will not be affected
- Your website will keep working
- We don't revert or block access to your data
Where can I see which sites have used my license?
You can check all sites where your license has been used (including date/time) under the Sites tab on your billing details page.
Can I remove a site from the usage list?
No. Once a site uses the plugin, it's counted for that subscription year. This is to prevent abuse and ensure fair use.
You can remove the plugin from the site, but that won't reduce the count.
I only used the plugin for a one-time migration. Why does it still count?
Because that is the core function of the plugin. Even if used once, the value was delivered. Our model ensures fairness for all users, including those who run dozens or hundreds of one-time migrations per year.
How do I increase my site limit?
Simply upgrade to the next tier. Pricing is flat and predictable:
- $99/year → 50 sites
- $150/year → 100 sites
- $225/year → 150 sites
- and so on…
